Welcome to the Demo version of the Feed Safety Database (FSD). This demo version contains a limited, not fully up to date, amount of information. The demo gives an first impression of the Feed Safety Database and can not be used when conducting your company-specific HACCP analyses. Feel free to log in with username: FSDDEMO and password: FSDDEMO (note: use all capitals!).
FSD is a database containing information that can be used when conducting company-specific HACCP analyses. The database has various sections, some of which have separate access settings. The following sections are available:
Risk assessments
This section contains risk assessments of feed material for farm animals. The risk assessments contain process diagrams of the (primary) production process, an inventory of possible hazards in feed material, an estimate and explanations of the hazards and control measures that may be taken in order to control these hazards.
Monitoring
In this section of the Feed Safety Database are the monitoring results of GMP+ certified companies recorded. Companies that make data from internal monitoring available can log into this database after registration. If you do not yet have access to this section but your company does comply with the requirements, please let us know via email, addressed to GMP+ International. Please include the name of the company and your certification number.
Fact sheets
The fact sheets show more background details regarding the hazards and the (explanation of the) severity of the risk to animals and humans. Fact sheets are available for the hazards (undesirable substances) that are included in the risk assessments of feed material. Additionally, fact sheets are available for a number of processing aids (categories).
Standards
In order to be able to determine if a feedmaterial is safe, standards have been issued for many hazards. These are available in Appendix BA1 of the GMP+ FSA scheme. This section listing standards also provides a download link for Appendix BA1.
The attached diagram reflects the link between the HACCP analysis and the various sections of the Feed Safety Database.
